When I said the PNW and CCC were underrated by every metric, this is what I meant. @PEARatings and other predictive sites have had UBC as a top 10 team in the country all year, but RPI and BoChip / the selection committee put them as a 3 seed. The three true West teams in the 46-man field are 5-1, with the only loss being to another West team (LCSC over Hope today). Frustrating stuff.

Bushnell University pitchers had the biggest jump of any West Region NAIA in K/9 from 2025 to 26. 11th biggest increase nationally. 7.2 -> 8.7 per 9.

You can do a lot with a clear development plan, leaning on your staff strengths, and a bit of fun. Lots of K's returning next year, too👀

After each homering in game one today, both Nate Stevens (2-4, 2 RBI) and @chasenye2 (3 RBI) homered again in game two. @Masonmillar7 had 3 hits, doubling twice with 2 RBI and a stolen base.

On the mound, Kai Keamo started and went 4 innings, allowing 2 runs with 4 strikeouts. @Dylan_Ha_ earned the win after 3 solid innings, allowing 1 unearned run with 2 strikeouts.

The Beacons stay in California for another weekend, facing The Master's for four games beginning Friday.
