Today we welcomed Angel Oxendine (‘23) and Dasjahnee Akins (‘23) back to ECSU to share their graduate school & current work experiences w/students. They both obtained MSW degrees from NCCU and are now working toward obtaining their clinical licensure. We are so proud of them!!

Congrats to the Class of 2025!!!! Sixty-seven (67%) have been accepted to pursue their Master of Social Work degrees at universities across the US. The remaining 33% have decided to go directly into the workforce, for now. We are super proud of each of them!

Earlier this month, 5 amazing Study Abroad Ambassadors attended the NC Association of International Educators Conference in Greensboro. Two of them (Jasmine Jackson and Jaharah Yahara) served on a panel to discuss, "Culturally Relevant Pedagogy for HBCU Students Studying Abroad."
