EMEA Masters Spring Split 2026 Format & Slot Distribution Update
Following the announcement of the EMEA Masters Spring Split, we’ve taken additional time to review the format and slot distribution alongside internal discussions and community feedback, particularly around ERL representation.
While extending the tournament duration isn’t possible within the current competitive calendar, we worked to find a better balance within the existing structure.
As a result, EM Spring will expand from 20 to 28 teams, with additional qualification slots allocated across ERLs and an updated format of the Play-In stage aimed at reducing the impact of single draws or isolated BO3s.
These changes are intended to improve both regional representation and the overall competitive experience, while maintaining the condensed event timeline.
We appreciate your passion around the ecosystem and wanted to make sure more teams have a path to compete on the regional stage.
