Last month, a young man in his twenties was killed cycling in Stratford.
🪧 Tonight we've come together to call on TfL and Newham Council to work together to rapidly improve the junctions along this route so that no one has to risk their life cycling here.
No death on our roads should be seen as unavoidable.

Ghettos or utopias? The anti-LTN narrative is utterly contradictory.
They wring hands over LTNs ‘pushing’ traffic onto main roads - and then relish a bunch of drivers petitioning for *private junctions that incentivise driving* 🤦♂️
The popular Dr Bike, run by @EnfieldCouncil to encourage #ActiveTravel, is held in a great public space that used to be a busy junction. It would be a shame if this people-friendly area was given over to traffic again to suit a loud minority who want local drivers’ exemptions.
