Last week, we were thrilled to attend the @ERHydrogenHUB ’s State of the Province Hydrogen Luncheon. And what a great event it was!
Our very own Terri Johnson spoke on AMTA’s work in the hydrogen space and our collaboration with our incredible project partners, including @Suncor and HTEC, who were one of the stops on the Hydrogen Bus Tour to announce the opening of the Hydrogen fueling station in Edmonton and soon to be Calgary. Our friends and project partners, the @CityofEdmonton and @StrathcoCounty, were also in attendance to announce the launch of their two hydrogen buses into service.
Thank you to the #ERHydrogenHUB. This event was an amazing opportunity to come together and celebrate Alberta’s hydrogen economy and the exciting future for hydrogen innovation in our province.

@FlyYEG announced its partnership with @ToyotaCanada to add 100 Toyota Mirais to YEG’s fleet over the next year. This will be the first commercial fleet of hydrogen fuel cell electric passenger vehicles in Alberta — and a major kickstart to the 5,000 Hydrogen Vehicle Challenge.
Today, we’re showcasing the first five of 100 zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell vehicles we have acquired through a partnership with @ToyotaCanada. This will be the very first fleet of hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles in Alberta and is one piece of our environmental sustainability journey.
YEG is on our way to net-zero emissions by 2040, and we’re actively building partnerships and pathways for the adoption of emerging sustainable technologies.
