🌍 TESAB’ın da desteğiyle düzenlenen oturumda; enerji güvenliği, elektrik sektöründeki yatırımların geleceği, artan enerji fiyatlarının etkileri ve temiz elektrifikasyonun hızlandırılması konuları ele alındı.

🔌 Türkiye elektrik sektörünün deneyimlerini ve enerji dönüşümüne yönelik yaklaşımını paylaşan Erdoğan, Türkiye’nin Avrupa’nın beşinci, dünyanın ise on birinci büyük elektrik piyasasına sahip olduğunu vurguladı.

🤝 Erdoğan ayrıca, Avrupa Birliği’nin enerji güvenliğinde Türkiye’nin sağladığı katkıyı hatırlatarak Türkiye-AB Yüksek Düzeyli Enerji Diyaloğu’nun yeniden canlandırılmasının her iki taraf için de faydalı olacağını ifade etti.

🌱 750’den fazla sektör temsilcisinin katıldığı zirvede; Avrupa’nın enerji güvenliği, rekabet gücü ve karbonsuzlaşma hedefleri doğrultusunda elektrik sektörünün geleceği değerlendirildi.

At the same time, achieving these goals will require faster investment in grids, stronger partnerships and a renewed focus on implementation.

The good news? Power Couples scanned through successful industrial electrification processes and identified the recipe for success. This recipe is based on a model of integrated industrial partnerships that jointly optimise demand, low-carbon supply, infrastructure and flexibility.

In the Power Couples model, one load anchors long-term clean power, another shifts demand when prices spike, a third provides fast balancing, and all of them share infrastructure, risk and system value. They operate through commercial structures such as long-term PPAs, Heat as a Service, Energy as a service, waste-heat offtake, flexibility revenues or blended public-private financing.

The report is the result of an intense dialogue with industrial players - a cornerstone of Eurelectric Vice-President Catherine Fiamma MacGregor's leadership in deepening Eurelectric's engagement with electricity customers - one lesson is crystalline: electrification succeeds when collaboration happens and system conditions align.

A defining moment of #PowerSummit26 was the signing of the Twin Transition Commitments by leaders from across the energy, technology and infrastructure sectors.

Representing utilities, technology companies, grid operators, infrastructure providers and industrial innovators, the signatories share a common objective: ensuring Europe's power system is ready for the rapid growth of AI and data centres.

Artificial intelligence represents a unique opportunity to strengthen Europe's competitiveness. But seizing that opportunity requires coordinated action across the energy and digital sectors, ensuring that AI infrastructure can grow alongside the power system that supports it.

To turn that commitment into action, Eurelectric and EY-Parthenon have launched 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, a new initiative examining both sides of the AI–electricity equation: how AI is driving demand for power, and how power companies are deploying AI to operate more efficient, resilient and flexible energy systems.

Henry Farrell, from @JohnsHopkins, explored how economics, technology and geopolitics are becoming increasingly intertwined in a weaponised world economy.

Throughout the day, discussions focused on how Europe can mobilise investment, modernise infrastructure and turn electrification into a driver of industrial competitiveness.
