Eleven CEOs from top EU tech companies met with key Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) from the EPP, Renew Europe, and the Greens to discuss pressing challenges.
Key priorities discussed:
1️⃣ Reducing regulatory burdens – Free up resources for innovation by streamlining regulations!
2️⃣ Ensuring consistent enforcement of EU rules – Level the playing field for all companies operating in the EU. 3️⃣ Adopting tailored, risk-based regulations.

This week, the European Tech Alliance (EUTA) was in Warsaw to meet with Polish officials in preparation for the upcoming Polish Presidency of the EU (H1 2024) and to present its vision for Europe’s 2030 digital policy.
This week, EUTA and its members met with key German officials in Berlin.
The meeting focused on EUTA’s vision for Europe’s 2030 digital policy. Discussions were held on how to unlock European tech companies’ potential at home and on the global stage.
Today's designation of @SHEIN_Official as “Very Large Online Platforms” (#VLOPs) under the Digital Services Act (#DSA) is a significant stride towards fairness.
�� When all companies targeting EU consumers are held to the same standards, we ensure European businesses do not have a disadvantage for following European rules.
MEP @Andreas_Schwab highlighted the need for #enforcement, and MEP @s_yoncourtin insisted on the need to have proper #resources.
Glad to hear from EVP Margrethe Vestager that: The Commission “will consider [national authorities] as equal team members in the investigations.”
#Google's favouritism towards its own services have been underscored by EVP Vestager: “We are concerned about the way Alphabet ranks its own services.” “We have reasons to suspect that Google treats its own services more favourably than similar services from third parties”.
