Full solidarity and support to Romania following the drone explosion in the port of Constanta this morning.

This is the third significant security incident in Romania in recent weeks. These incidents are a direct consequence of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine.

The EU condemns the repeated violations of airspace of Member States and reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the security of all Member States.

I am delighted to conclude my visit to the Western Balkans in Tivat, after Montenegro’s Independence Day last month.

Montenegro has come a long way over the last twenty years.

This generation has a historic opportunity to bring Montenegro into the European Union family.

In my meeting with President @JakovMilatovic I acknowledged the hard work of Montenegro’s government in driving forward the necessary reforms to join the EU.

Montenegro demonstrates that the opportunity for EU enlargement is real.

Looking forward to continuing these discussions with all our Western Balkan partners at the Summit later today.
