🇺🇬|🇩🇪Uganda–Germany Tourism Roadshow Promotes Uganda in German Market

The Uganda Embassy in Berlin, in partnership with the Uganda Tourism Board, organized the Uganda–Germany Tourism Roadshow in Düsseldorf on 23 June 2026 to promote Uganda as a preferred tourism destination and strengthen tourism partnerships between Uganda and Germany.

The event, which serves as a precursor to the 1st Uganda Cultural and Tourism Festival in Munich (26–28 June 2026), brought together tourism stakeholders, tour operators, and government representatives from both countries.

Speaking on behalf of Ambassador Stephen Mubiru, Ms. Jessica Namuddu highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Uganda and Germany and showcased Uganda’s unique attractions, including mountain gorillas, diverse wildlife, rich cultural heritage, and scenic landscapes.

Solar power is becoming the undisputed energy source for Uganda’s rural community. I went to Lapidyem in Pader where a solar mini grid project delivers power to over 100 homesteads for 10k a month ($3). It’s a local govt project done in partnership with @EUinUG

There’s an SME in Kireka,yes, just here in Kireka that processes eggs into powder & liquid to extend the lifeline of eggs and to make other egg derived products like mayonnaise.

Another of the projects @euinuganda has helped with financing. Their story blew me away 🙌🏽🙌🏽
