No stranger to advocating for children's rights, Dr. Donna Koller focuses on issues like how climate change - through extreme heat and tick borne diseases - impedes children's right to play, a need that drives developmental growth. #MyClimateJob

Come behind the scenes with Moms to the Capitol as we fight for cleaner air and a cleaner economy. We need fuel efficiency standards more than ever as #gasprices are skyrocketing and the Trump Administration continues to roll back #cleanair protections.
As communities across Colorado are facing large-load data centers — it is critical that statewide guardrails are implemented now. This story from Georgia highlights just one concern of high water usage by QTs — until residents complained. https://t.co/jHjZ6COdq6 via @politico
"Children deserve people who take the threats to their safety seriously… (EPA’s) repeal of the Endangerment Finding is a profound betrayal of their trust."

For Dr. Georges C. Benjamin, CEO of @PublicHealth, the biggest realization wasn't just that the climate was warming, but that the extreme weather and rise of certain infectious diseases like Lyme, was preventable. #ClimateAction#PublicHealth
On World Asthma Day, we're sounding the alarm: wildfire smoke is stealing our kids' breath. 🌬️
Climate change is fueling longer, hotter wildfire seasons—and the smoke doesn't stay where the flames burn. It drifts thousands of miles and lands in our children's lungs.
Here's what every parent should know:
🔸 On smoky days when AQI hits 100–200, breathing wildfire smoke is like smoking up to half a pack of cigarettes.
🔸 Kids' lungs are still growing. Smoke exposure raises rates of coughing, wheezing, bronchitis — and hospital visits, even for kids without asthma.
🔸 When 2023's Canadian wildfire smoke drifted into the U.S., asthma-related ER visits rose 17% — thousands of miles from the flames (per the CDC).
🔸 As Moms Clean Air Force organizer Elizabeth Hauptman says: "This is our reality now. Their lungs are still developing. Their brains are still growing. This isn't a nuisance—it's a serious health threat."
We can fight back. Tell Congress: protect our families and our kids' right to breathe clean air. 💪
Every breath counts. Every voice matters. Every action adds up.

EcoMadre Mary Wagner never imagined she'd be taking on a state government agency. Then her son was diagnosed with asthma and everything changed.
