Have you tried the new presenter modes in Microsoft Teams? From the share tray, you can select reporter mode or side by side mode so you can present in the way that works for you.

In Teams you can now choose to lock a meetings to prevent subsequent join attempts. This helps avoid distractions from late or unwanted joiners during the meeting. You can find this feature under More actions in the Participant pane
