@gavinguidry The Florida studio closed in 2004, and Burbank was abandoning 2D animation around that time. So you dodged a bullet. Ironically, a couple of years earlier, Russ Braun and Phil Noto work at the Florida studio and would eventually become comic professionals as well.
@Disney_Wiki That was my scene. I storyboarded the first pass, came up with many of the location gags, wrote that dialogue bit and Rob Hughes & Dan Povenmire finessed it as always.
8"X10" ORIGINAL CARTOON ART! These are the new additions to my ebay store. All of the artwork was created with the traditional artist tools of pencils, felt-tip pens, markers and sketchbook paper.🙂 Here is the store link: https://t.co/u1CXXm6uSp
But this isn’t a tool for great artists, it’s a tool for people who want to be perceived as great artist, but don’t have the skills to create this. You can use these tools to create whatever, but don’t misrepresent the real threat to those trying to make a living as animators.
@EtheringtonBros@otisframpton The two best hand artists of the cartooning variety were Mikt Kahl and Mort Drucker. That model sheet of Kahl hands was put together by another great animator, David Nethery.
I grew up reading Gerry Conway’s Spider-Man. Those comics meant a lot to me as a kid.
Years later, out of nowhere, he posted about Red’s Planet when it was just a little webcomic.
I never forgot that.
Rest in peace, Gerry.
I’m excited to announce that I’m bringing my new WICKERSON anthology edition to KICKSTARTER! I hope you all considering supporting it! You can sign up for the PRE-LAUNCH page and get notified when it goes live!
