🔴 Sewer main work tomorrow 3/25/25 @ Jernegan Pond Rd entrance. Delays exiting and entering road from 9AM - 3PM.
***Drainage Repair***
Edg. Highway Dept. will be making repairs to the drainage system in the area of 99 School St. School St. will be closed to traffic from Pease's Point Way S to High St. for the next 3 days. The street will be open to one lane traffic in the evenings only.
Saturday, September 2, 2023, will be the last day with lifeguards on South Beach/ Norton Point.
The Park Patrol will be done on South Beach on Labor Day.
Norton Point will have minimal staff until the end of the Bluefish Derby.
The Edgartown Police Department is looking to identify this individual. If you have any information about this person, please call (508) 627-4343. He allegedly swapped a price tag on a skim board at the Boneyard.

EPD is assisting multiple agencies searching for a missing adult male paddle boarder in Edgartown Great Pond. Please remain away from this area and allow emergency responders to perform their search.
There appears to be scam phone calls being made claiming to be from the Police Department doing fundraising for new equipment. The Edgartown Police Department/Edgartown Patrolmen's Association do not solicit funds this way. Do not provide and personal or banking information.

July 4 - Edgartown Fireworks Update:
The fireworks set up has been slightly delayed due to the storm. Fireworks will start @ 9:30pm with test fireworks being shot off beforehand.
Norton Point beach is not open yet for the day. A super high tide has caused flooding on the beach. The Edgartown Parks Department will reevaluate beach access at noon as the tide changes closer to 2pm.
