Using Narrative Intelligence (NARINT), our team analyzed the reporting, social media, and cross-network amplification shaping today's AI bubble discourse.

Key findings:

The AI sector does show legitimate financial risk signals — elevated valuations, rising debt, circular financing, and uneven enterprise adoption, as flagged by institutions like the Bank for International Settlements.

However, many of the most extreme "AI collapse" narratives extend well beyond what the underlying evidence supports.

The most aggressive bearish amplification traces back to Chinese state media, Chinese hedge funds, and Russian-aligned commentators — frequently relying on dot-com bubble comparisons rather than new data — while simultaneously promoting China's AI ecosystem as a more stable alternative.
