I hate to admit this but Trump was right.
He said that if I vote for Kamala Harris gas prices, groceries prices and my utility bills will go through the roof.
I voted for Harris and my gas, groceries and utility bills have gone through the roof.
A political trial is one where they will vote to acquit a man who set a violent mob upon them, because the benefits of doing so outweigh their obligation to the rule of law. There is no sense of duty, only political survival and self preservation.
A criminal trial is where a jury of citizens are bound by the rule of law. They may have preconceived notions and political allegiances, but something happens when faced with overwhelming facts and evidence. Most are compelled by a sense of duty to do the right thing.
So when you see Congress carry on with their performative baboonery in support of Trump, remember that a jury of people just like you, faced with threats, intimidation and the prospect of having their lives upended forever, stood firm with the rule of law and chose to do the right thing.
@turtlepiano @Garrett_Archer Yeah. Reversing an election the right won seems like a smart thing for the Republicans to do. Oh, wait. They’re Republicans. They can’t think things through.
