I was driving in Boston yesterday. A van of Scots pulled up next to me and the passenger side window rolled down. He wanted to ask if I was watching the game, and say how much he’s loved visiting the US. Such incredibly friendly people. Not a typical Boston traffic convo haha.

"As we approach the trade deadline, I wouldn’t classify us as buyers or sellers. That’s an antiquated binary construct lacking sufficient roster-fluidity nuance.
At 29–43 and last in the AL East, we’re more strategically liquidity-curious, operating within a multidirectional asset-arbitrage framework designed to optimize controllable value while preserving theoretical competitiveness in a non-linear despair environment.
We need to evaluate the roster through a bidirectional transactional elasticity lens, remaining open to subtractional growth, addition-adjacent optionality, prospect-capital recalibration, and non-panic-based inaction masquerading as philosophical discipline.
In short, we may sell or we may buy, we may do both, or a little of all."
