There is great joy in homeschooling older kids and I want to help you transform the middle school years into something both you and your teen will love.
@mikejwhelan@CancerFinalGirl After seeing your post I realized he might benefit from having someone else to talk to so I'll check with his team. Thank you!
@joshgunderson@HorrorNightsORL She fills out incident reports almost every night, but the idiots run away and who knows if they're ever caught. One man picked up one of her fellow actors from behind and physically moved him. Every day I'm saying, "Who would do that?" "What happened????" "Are you kidding me?"
@joshgunderson@HorrorNightsORL My daughter is a scare actor and unfortunately went viral on TickTok. Now these goblins and other idiots come into the scare zone looking for her. She is touched dozens of times each night. Pushed, shoved, punched, and tripped. Screamed at from behind.
@joshgunderson@HorrorNightsORL Oh my gosh, this. THIS!!!! Every night we say the same exact thing. I'm sick of it, especially because so much of the horrible behavior is common sense stuff. How hard is it to not touch people at their place of work? To not act like you're the only ones at the event?
If you are still using math textbooks in your homeschool with your teens, you need to consider moving to an online program, specifically CTCMath. @CTCMathOfficial#math#middleschool#homeschool https://t.co/tlttTO0ovA
Every Christmas, I buy my kids books, movies, and games. Different titles of course, but they unwrap a version of these things each and every year.
What do your kids expect to find under the tree?
Next semester, my teen needs to work on her Economics credit. Instead of using a set curriculum, I'm going to build a course for her. This is one of the books on her reading list. https://t.co/hEXXrY6X3q #Ad
Take some time this weekend to make one of these easy Christmas crafts with your teen. It's a great way to spend quality time together, plus you'll have a cute decoration for your house. https://t.co/zPK0wdCdom
My oldest just started her first real job and many of her friends are in the process as well. I can tell you that it's crucial that we take time to prepare them for this part of their journey.
Have you got a homeschooled teen who's ready for his first part-time job? Try these tips to help him confidently navigate the process.

Obviously not the actual heart failure or addiction part - just the predictability of the answers. Kind of like when kids in church think the answer to any question is Jesus.
My teen is on the "play it safe" unit in heath and she's been yelling out the names of drugs, followed by "Yep. Heart failure." The answer to any question in this unit is heart failure. It's become quite the running joke in our house.
@TiciaAIM Yes! It brought back all the feels from the last movie. But I loved the end with Paul Rudd. Makes me hopeful that they'll be able to keep the humor in what is bound to be an intense movie.
We are always working on various life skills in our house, so I keep my eye out for unique materials I can use. I'm excited to be adding this book to our collection in the new year. https://t.co/NfbQcvC0sF #ad#lifeskills
