I enjoyed speaking with Florida’s district superintendents at the Florida Association of District School Superintendents conference this morning. 

Throughout my tenure as Commissioner, two priorities guided our work: student safety and student achievement. Thanks to the leadership of @GovRonDeSantis, the dedication of parents and the high-quality instruction by teachers across our state, Florida continues to lead the nation in education.

Today, I joined leaders at @PHSCedu to celebrate a $3 million investment through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund that will create new aviation training opportunities for students to become Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics.

Thanks to @GovRonDeSantis’ leadership, Florida continues to lead the nation in workforce education, connecting students with the skills employers need and preparing them for success in the workforce of tomorrow.

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation offers programs and services that help individuals with disabilities explore opportunities, build skills and find and maintain competitive integrated employment while enhancing their independence.
