Before Delilah, there was another woman.
The first girl Samson liked...

He saw a woman in Timnah, a Philistine.
And immediately, he wanted her.

He went home and told his parents,

“I have seen a Philistine woman. Now get her for me as my wife.”
Judges 14:2

His parents were confused.
They asked him why he could not choose someone from his own people, someone who honored God.

But Samson insisted.

“Get her for me, for she is right in my eyes.” Judges 14:3

That line says everything...

He did not say she was right before God.
He said she was right in his eyes.

Samson was called to be set apart.
But instead of living with discernment, he followed what he felt.

The relationship moved forward, but it was never built on the right foundation.

During their wedding feast, Samson made a riddle.
The Philistines could not solve it, so they pressured his wife.

They threatened her, even her family, until she gave in.
She cried to Samson, pleaded with him, and eventually, he revealed the answer.

She told his enemies.

The one he chose, the one he trusted, became the one who exposed him.

“Before sunset on the seventh day the men of the town said to him, ‘What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?’” Judges 14:18

Samson realized what happened.
What started with attraction ended in betrayal...

Their marriage quickly fell apart.
What he thought would bring him joy brought conflict instead.

Samson’s story reminds us of something real.

Not everything that feels right is right.
Not every connection is aligned with your calling.

Sometimes we rush into relationships because of what we see, what we feel, what we want.
We ignore warnings. We overlook differences. We convince ourselves it will work.

But when God is not at the center, it will eventually be tested.

The wrong connection does not always destroy you instantly.
Sometimes it slowly exposes your weaknesses, your blind spots, your lack of discernment.

Guard your heart.
Pray before you pursue.
Discern before you decide.

Because what looks right in your eyes may lead you away from what is right in God’s will. ❤️‍🔥

There are 4 stages to every man's life (Read Carefully)

The Unit of Destiny is TIME.
Every destiny is a measure of time. Whatever you give your time to, you are giving your destiny to.

Your ability to maximise the four stages of Life is called FULFILLMENT, EXPLOIT and IMPACT.

Morning Stage: (Age 0 - 25)
It is the Learning Stage. It is the stage of preparation.
You are given room to make mistakes and still make corrections.

Afternoon Stage: (Age 26- 50)
This is the stage for maximum Kingdom impact in terms of destiny. It is the stage of execution.

Evening Stage: (Age 51- 75)
This is the age of Legacy and Consolidation. The stage you build institutions that preserves your values and outlive you. You can impact your world and mentor the younger generations.

Night Stage: Age 76- death.
This is the rest stage.. You have given all you were deposited with at the time of creation.

This is the Time for Assessment. Most people don't discover their purpose on time.

If you wasted the first stage of your life, you can't waste the second stage.
You need to seek Grace to catch up.

As a Parent, if the only thing you gave your children is Education and Money, you did not bless them.

Young People have Time but don't have Wisdom so they waste their time.
Old people don't have time but they have profound wisdom and experience.

Give them Morals, Give them what made you YOU, Give them what made you exceptional.
Their Spirits and Mind are the most important components for their success.

WHY HARDWORKING, GOD-FEARING PEOPLE STILL SUFFER — APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

There is a question that honest believers ask in private but rarely dare to voice in church — "I did everything right. I prayed, I obeyed, I worked hard, I stayed faithful. So why is my life still looking like this?" If that question has ever crossed your mind, this post is not here to give you a cliché answer. It is here to give you the truth. And the truth starts with something uncomfortable but profoundly liberating: all men, even at their very best, are limited.

Psalm 103:14 says God "remembers that we are dust." That is not an insult from heaven — it is an honest description. Jeremiah 10:23 says, "O Lord, I know that the way of man is not in himself. It is not in man who walks to direct his steps." No matter how visionary you are, there are aspects of your destiny that will never be revealed through research, intelligence, or determination alone. They will only come through the help of God. Joseph knew he was destined for greatness. But how he would get there? That was a mystery that only divine help could navigate.

The second reason godly, hardworking people still struggle is what can be called human factors — sentiments, biases, injustice, and greed. You can score a hundred percent in the promotion interview and still be passed over because someone doesn't like where you come from. A brilliant young man can build something remarkable with his own hands and still go nowhere, simply because no one knows him. Meanwhile someone with half the skill and none of the discipline is celebrated because of who they know. This is not confusion. This is the world.

The third reason is the one most believers are not prepared to confront directly — Satan is real, alive, and strategic. He is not sitting idle. He is visionary with a project, and that project has your name on it. When God was revealing the blueprint of your destiny, you were not the only one listening. Satan had the verdict too. He heard that you were called to be a deliverer, a builder, a financier of the Kingdom — and he has been patient. He can wait thirty years while you grow. The day you step into purpose is often the day strange resistance begins.

Understanding these three realities — your human limitation, the wickedness of human factors, and the determination of demonic forces — is not meant to make you afraid. It is meant to make you intelligent. The race is not to the swift. The battle is not to the strong. It is God showing men mercy. And intelligent believers don't just pray harder. They pray smarter. They cry out for timely, significant, targeted help from the God who has never lost a case.
