A missile that never leaves the depot is not a deterrent.
The gap between what a defense system can do and what it actually does under pressure comes down to one thing: whether the parts, crews, and infrastructure behind it hold up when conditions get hard.
That's the calculation every procurement decision quietly makes. Not "what's the spec sheet," but "what happens on day 40 of a shortage."
The forces that plan for that gap don't just recover faster. They keep their options open when everyone else runs out of moves.

A ship at sea has one question to answer before anything else: what was detected, and how long until it becomes a threat?
A radar return. A blip on a screen. A missile in the air. Each one starts a clock.
Patrol aircraft and unmanned surface vessels expand the picture. Electronic warfare systems detect threats before they close in. Off-board decoys draw missiles away. Loitering munitions launched from the sea extend the reach of the force.
No single system carries this mission alone. The layers work because they're designed to work together.
On World Maritime Day, we're highlighting the systems that help naval forces see first, decide faster, and respond when seconds matter.
Protect. Disrupt. Collect.
Built on the combat-proven SPEAR™ family, Elbit Systems' AECM Pod delivers self-protection, electronic attack, and reconnaissance capabilities in a single airborne solution.
With advanced jamming techniques and the ability to address multiple threats simultaneously, it helps aircraft operate in areas protected by sophisticated air defense systems.
Beyond electronic attack, SPEAR™ AECM Pod also provides valuable situational intelligence, supporting informed decision-making throughout the mission.

Tactical operations don't need more firepower. They need greater precision.
Elbit Systems develops the seeker technologies and laser/GPS guidance kits that transform conventional mortar and artillery munitions into precision strike assets.
First-round target engagement means fewer rounds fired, reduced logistical burden, and greater effectiveness in the field.
By getting more from every shot, forces can achieve operational objectives with greater efficiency and lower collateral risk.
SkyStriker continues to demonstrate what modern loitering munitions can deliver in operational environments.
A successful live demonstration in Europe highlighted SkyStriker's ability to detect, track, and precisely engage targets while operating at long ranges and integrating seamlessly with ISR platforms.
Conducted in cooperation with @DiehlDefence , the demonstration showcased capabilities that are increasingly relevant to armed forces seeking advanced autonomous strike solutions.

Detecting signals is only part of the mission. The real challenge is understanding how radar emissions, radio transmissions and other electronic activity connect to reveal a broader operational picture across the spectrum. https://t.co/T6vQZsnlbe
The heaviest armor won't save a compromised network.
In modern operations, the physical domain is entirely dependent on the invisible one:
If communications are jammed, sensors are blinded, or data is intercepted, the mission is compromised before it even begins.
At Elbit Systems, we build the invisible layer that keeps forces moving forward. From advanced electronic warfare (EW) suites that secure the spectrum, to proactive cyber defenses that protect critical infrastructure - we ensure the unseen environment is your absolute advantage.
Because when you control the invisible, you control the outcome.
A border can turn critical in seconds. In a live operational demo, we connected radars, cameras, UAVs, robotics and C2 into one picture. AI accelerated detection-to-action, while autonomous systems handled high-risk missions and reduced soldier exposure. https://t.co/4XaMjpXbqj

Autonomous systems can process data faster than ever. AI can detect patterns, suggest actions, and help operators manage growing amounts of information.
But when the mission is on the line, who is really making the decision? https://t.co/m7BlY3n8ex
Every advanced sensor, targeting system, and space payload has one defining factor that tips the scale: the quality of its optics and the ability to deliver a true turnkey solution.
The difference between a system that performs flawlessly in the field and one that gradually degrades is often invisible to the human eye. Yet that difference is determined long before the system ever reaches an operator.
Inside our Precision Optics Technology Center, optical components are developed and manufactured machined to nanometric precision, then polished and centered until geometry and alignment leave no room for error.
In high-vacuum chambers, advanced multilayer coatings are deposited using Ion Beam Sputtering and atomic layer deposition, giving each component the spectral behavior and durability required to withstand the demands of high-power laser environments.
Nothing advances on assumption alone. Every component undergoes rigorous verification through interferometry, polarization analysis, and high-energy laser testing, proving its performance before it earns its place in the mission.
For space applications, ultra-lightweight mirrors and precision aspheric optics are finished using Magnetorheological Finishing (MRF) technology to nanometric accuracy. Designed to maintain their shape and performance in orbit, they are built for environments where maintenance is simply not an option.
Few organizations combine such a depth of expertise and end-to-end capabilities under a single roof. This is the quiet precision behind every image, every beam, and every mission success.
Take a look inside.
