@gothsfilms Union rules. Studio would rather a 20-30M profit than pay the “actual” cost of production cuz then it would be a loss. Streaming rules don’t apply, not that they’d make a lot there anyway.

@sinobite If any union was involved (Probably was) because of their contracts if the movie passes a threshold the studio has to pay whatever the real cost was for their work. Thus rendering a small 20-30M profit into a negative. That’s why so many small films get pulled if doing well.
