Had a conversation today about whether or not children “know” they’re queer. I said, of course. This person disagreed. I explained how I knew in the 4th grade. They asked how I could have a memory so specific from that time. I told him that’s when Sailor Moon came out in America.
Folk love to tell us that we’re making it up, reading into things, acting dramatic and/or sensitive, on and on and on. Being gaslit by an entire industry is something else. Just playing in our faces. Let me go back to work.
