Life update: In December I successfully defended my thesis and submitted 2 articles to ESA journals, culminating in the completion of my masters.
This month I accepted the position of staff entomologist and education specialist at the National Pest Management Association!

Started keeping the flea beetles in a cage with a plant and we’ve been referring to this as a bug hotel, i might have went a little overboard with the labels
Field season is in full swing, first round of monitoring daily activity of the #redheadedfleabeetle is almost complete. Long night, but well worth the efforts!
