After 16 years, Patrick Taylor is finally exonerated.
Due to the tireless efforts of @SGcrimlaw and our entire @ExonerationProj team, Patrick was reunited with his loved ones after the State dismissed all charges.
JUST IN: The transcript of Judge April Perry's comments in the Broadview Six hearing is in, and it is as described. "I have never seen the types of prosecutorial behavior before a grand jury that I saw in those transcripts."
Wow. That’s three walk-off winners in a row for the Cubs.
Here’s Pat Hughes’ call of Michael Busch’s game-winning walk.
Plus his call of Pete Crow-Armstrong’s game-tying homer in the ninth.

Steven Thomas testified at the sentencing of the man convicted of killing his brother and asked for the maximum punishment. Nearly 30 years later, that man was declared innocent.
"I owe him a great apology," Thomas said, "and that would not be enough." https://t.co/tn96Pf2fis
"Too much has been taken away from me," Reginald Dillard said shortly after he was released.
We first wrote about his case last year as part of our series into a rogue group of officers who brutalized Black people in Elkhart. You can read more here: https://t.co/urCypcbryW

Reggie Dillard…. Officially exonerated!! Later today (God willing), an innocent man will walk out of the Elkhart County Jail, free for the first time since 1999. @ElliotSlosar@NDLawEJC
Reggie Dillard is FREE and Elkhart County’s most recent exoneree!! It was a perfect day celebrating this man and his freedom (aside from missing @ElliotSlosar, whose years of work led to this moment)
I've been following this case for a couple of years now. John Turner was convicted of based on eyewitness testimony. Our reporting led to a tip identifying another perpetrator. Earlier this year, a judge overturned Turner's conviction. https://t.co/85FUoO4bo5 via @indystar
This is the best regular season moment in Chicago Bears franchise history and it might be the best throw a Bears quarterback has ever made.
56.9 air yards through 25 MPH wind for a walk-off touchdown in overtime against the Packers. Insane.
Kevin Taylor, yet another innocent person wrongfully convicted by Elkhart prosecutor Vicki Becker, will have his day in court. Earlier today, the Indiana Court of Appeals granted his motion for leave to file a successive PCR. 🎉 @ElliotSlosar
