He's 10x more important to the team than Tonali and Gordon, that's why they let them go easily. In what world does it make sense to sell him for 40 mil less than the price they value him at?

@WWNNcoachhall @blixberrie I've also coached football in England and the US, the difference in quality even at U5/6 is already recognizable, by that point it's becoming too late to pick up those skills.

Then factor in the cost for young people to play in the States.

So no, it's not as simple as you think

@WWNNcoachhall @blixberrie You're making the most obvious point possible. I've seen American athletes try football in crossover videos, technically they're on the level of about 7/8 year olds.

The skills in football aren't transferable to American sports as you're using your feet instead of your hands.
