PAC has been dead for 48 hours and I’m seeing “creators” farming his death for views. Exploiting someone’s passing for engagement is fucking disgusting. Have some shame.
I can’t believe Ben is not here anymore.
My jaw was on the floor any time I had the privilege to watch him work. He moved in ways I didn’t previously think possible in the ring. But more importantly, he was a gentleman. Someone I truly respected as a man. Ben was loved by so many of the people he shared a locker room with.
My heart goes out to his lovely wife and the rest of his family.
Ben’s wife deserves prayers and privacy. Speculation is routed in evil.. Ben was a good man, if you ever enjoyed a moment of watching him, do the man the courtesy of respecting his wife’s privacy and let him rest in peace. Ben was a good man who deserves as much.
You’re going to hear a lot about the professional PAC was, and it’s extraordinarily true, but you’re also going to hear about the good and kind human Ben was
For someone so accomplished, he carried himself with remarkable humility and always made the people around him feel seen
Ben was the fucking man.
From a wrestlers pov and an overall human pov, He was the man. He was a walking fucking legend that never made you feel like you wasn't family and was a joy to be around,
That was me and capo's guy yo.
Big time. He loved us & we loved him back.
💔🖤
Every success I had with AEW is because of him. He got me work during Covid. Meeting @TonyKhan at a revpro show. my first PPV. The vignettes. He helped me pay my rent when I couldn’t.
I have so many stories to tell and he’d hate if I told any.
He was my friend. I’m heartbroken.
I’ll never forget just being a young kid looking for opportunity. I remember in 2021 when I would do AEW dark. I was flying back home and when I got to my gate I saw PAC sitting there. A big part of me was in shock having a mark out moment deep down but I didn’t want to bother him. But then I saw him look at me and waved me over to have a seat with him. He took the time to ask about me about myself and made ME a young 21 year old kid feel like I belonged. He gave me advice, I told him how he inspired me, we had some laughs but his kindness was something that made a lasting impact on me. 💜
The greatest export from our country.
Also the greatest human being.
Honoured to have shared the ring with you so many times.
You truly are such a hero to myself and many others.
Forever our BASTARD 💚
RIP Pac
I’m a bit of a mess right now.
Ben has always been one of my favorite people in wrestling because he was always one of Jon’s.
I remember being pregnant with Brodie and getting emails from Jon while he was in Japan on tour. His emails always mentioned PAC & @KingRicochet . He would tell me how he loved passing the time by entertaining Trevor, by taking the counter point to anything Ben had to say. He said he would get him going on bus rides until Ben would get so mad he would refuse to speak for a few hours.
I remember the first time I met Ben I apologized for Jon doing that because he used to do it to me. We joked how maddening it was.
Ben & Jon’s careers always had one another in their orbit. They brought out the best in each other. He always thought the world of Ben, even though he was convinced he wasn’t completely human “because nobody should be able to do the kinda stuff he does with ease”
When Jon passed, Ben checked on me frequently and would always exchange funny memories with me. Every single time we were at shows together he would always stop for a hug and a check in. We would talk our dogs, his incredible wife Natalie, and my boys. We would laugh over how Brodie is not only the spitting image of Jon but a shit starter just like his dad.
My heart hurts so much right now and I don’t know what else to say.
Hug your loved ones. Take care of those around you. Take care of yourselves.
To many, he was a bastard.
To my kids, he was Ben - who brought them Kinder Eggs from the UK, who converted them to Newcastle fans.
To me, he was an incredible friend for 20 years. Watching a Black Arrow from inside the ring still takes my breath away.
The best of us. 🖤
Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband & friend to his many loved ones, + in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unprecedented athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport that he loved & traveled the world to pursue. May Ben rest in peace.
My best friend has passed on, I am absolutely in shock. My prayers are with his wife and family.
Ben, I love you.
I’m going to miss you Pac, thank you for being a friend.
IMO, Rocky V was never really about boxing. It’s about Rocky realizing he doesn’t need to win back his old life. He learns what was actually worth having in the first place.
