Being vulnerable and honest about what you’re going through mentally as an athlete takes an amount of courage I can’t put into words.
Doesn’t matter if you’re the best of the best or just tryna make it. Really happy Roisin shared her truth but mannn my heart is aching for her 🩵
🗣️ “I’m super stoked about this. I feel like we have things to work on. It’s a good place in the season against a stellar field. Really happy to
come away with a little bit of a PR too.” – @emily_infeld after running 14:50.90th 5000m Track Fest

I'm a big fan of Olympic runner & friend of mine, @aishapraught. I once asked how she speed trains, as speed is a startup superpower.
What she said BLEW MY MIND.
Turns out, much of her training is psychological.
⬇️Aisha's 11 "rules" for training your brain to do more, faster.
My 4 favorite takeaways from this chat between my partner @elizabeth & Olympian runner @aishapraught on the psychology of speed:
- Stress is the enemy of winning.
- Being too positive gives the negative more power.
- A single pursuit does not allow you a “normal life”.
- Comparing yourself to others can be good.
So many powerful lessons!
