National Dem campaign officials in DC have been telling @jewishinsider for over a month that they have no plans to commit resources to SC because they view the state as less winnable than Kansas or Mississippi.

Eric is correct. Annie Andrews’ impressive fundraising numbers and the late Sen. Lindsey Graham’s sudden death have certainly shaken up the contest, but neither has made this a competitive general election contest. The Cook Political Report has rated this race as solid R for the entire cycle.
