What is ironic is I focused on reporting about ordinary people and Chinese culture/history more than the average newswire or newspaper, in order for listeners/readers to understand China better.

Also interesting to note feminism and LGBTQ issues are apparently "smearing China"

It was surreal to walk into the Causeway Bay Books in Taipei then. Mr. Lam was generous and kind-hearted. He spent two hours talking with us that evening. He forever changed the Taiwanese landscape with his relocation here. Rest in peace.

The elder son, Kenneth Wang, served as director of @FAPA_HQ San Diego and a leader in the Taiwanese-American community. In 2017 Kenneth and his brother wrote a Taiwan Mandarin biography of their father, titled "期待明天的人" ("Person Who Looked Forward to Tomorrow").
