@lorepodcast Hi! Been listening for a while. And this episode took me back to Iceland's "others" The Hidden People. We did a little exploratory tour while there all about them and how they impacted the lives of local farmers (whether good or bad). We had a blast! Love this series!
Let me be very clear: the scenes of chaos at the Capitol do not represent who we are. What we are seeing is a small number of extremists dedicated to lawlessness. This is not dissent, it's disorder. It borders on sedition, and it must end. Now.
Honestly, both #Trump and #Biden make me feel embarrassed to be a #US citizen... anyone else think this #PresidentialDebate is an absolute trainwreck? 🚂🚂🚂
Can we all just take a chill pill on the cancel culture? Once you start "canceling history" that's when we have an issue. History is how we learn and avoid past mistakes. So stop demanding to cancel things like #Hamilton and start turning them into learning opportunities...
My favorite thing about #PrehistoricRoadTripPBS is that I get to share it with my family...one of whom was a #geologist way back when and still loves to talk about #rocks no matter where we are in the world. #womenofscience
Huge shoutout to @RoyCooperNC who stood up for #COVID19 safety protocols even though it meant losing the #RNC2020. Thanks for keeping us safe during the #pandemic! https://t.co/svH0vyeZXL
As a bishop in the Episcopal Church, and an American citizen, I am shaken watching protestors in Lafayette Park gassed and cleared so that the President of the United States can do a photo op in front of St. John's Episcopal Church holding a Bible. This is blasphemy in real time.
Regardless of political views, @BarackObama offers some great insight into the effect violence has on communities and how to make lasting change. Raise awareness, call your local officials, and always vote. https://t.co/IrkSCXPWat
