Earth shattering news in Alabama! The PSC has called a rate case for Spire, Alabama’s only investor owned/regulated gas company, the first called since 1983.

For decades, 3 people have set Alabama's power rates.
A new Alabama law made it 7.
Governor Ivey has four new seats to fill. Let's not waste them on the same old faces.

A good PSC commissioner:
• Puts people over profits
• Holds Alabama Power accountable
• Works to lower bills
• Ends the solar tax
• Votes transparently

Alabama's Public Service Commission just doubled in size. Four new seats. Four new commissioners.
The people in those chairs will decide your power bill.
Who do you want them to be? https://t.co/9zz8WMyPY4
Big news Alabama
A new low-cost battery storage project is coming to Jackson County, storing energy for when we need it most.
Batteries often cost-less and provide more value to the grid than peaker gas plants which sit idle most of the year.

BREAKING NEWS: Sadly, Governor Ivey has signed HB 475 into law.
The people of Alabama deserved better, and we will not pretend otherwise.

HB 475’s ability to lower your Alabama Power bill was gutted and then it passed the legislature.
No rate hearings. No limits on profits. No real relief for families.
Tell Gov. Ivey's office to VETO HB 475.

No. @GovernorKayIvey should veto this bill.
Real reform was hijacked and instead we got a bill meant to protect Alabama Power shareholders on Wall St. instead of hardworking Alabamians.
@DannyGarrett44@ScottButtram@mobilebierguy It is correct. The new political appointee, answerable to no voter, decides what the PSC does. Only a super majority of elected commissioners can amend the agenda.
They do not control staff. Their control is more imaginary than real.
Voters clearly lost power here.
