Tomorrow, America celebrates its 250th birthday, and I’ve been reflecting on just how blessed we are to call this nation home. 🇺🇸
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there is no greater blessing than being an American.
I grew up with very little, but this country gave me the opportunity to dream, to serve, and to build a life beyond anything I could have imagined. That’s the promise of America.
I’m grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, for the brave men and women who have defended them, and for every New Yorker and every American who works each day to make this country even stronger.
I love this nation with all my heart, and I always will.
Happy early Independence Day, and may God continue to bless the United States of America.

More like a side effect of spending 20+ years as an NYPD officer keeping New York City’s streets safe.
Tell me you don’t know any NYPD officers without telling me you don’t know any NYPD officers.
Grabbing some wood at the College Point Home Depot to build a bookshelf. I finally have time for home projects again. Being mayor was a full-time job… and then some. Let’s just hope I don’t accidentally build a coffee table instead.
Great service, too. I even had to prove to one of the employees that I still have my dance moves.
Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads across New York City.
I’ve had the privilege of serving in many important roles throughout my life, but nothing has ever meant more to me than being a father.
The love, guidance, and support you give your children every day is the most important job you will ever have. Thank you for all that you do.
He was offered a job and turned it down because he was “not interested in working for a Jew.”
Replace the word “Jew” with any other religious or racial group, and the outrage would be immediate and universal.
Antisemitism has become dangerously normalized on some of our most elite campuses and institutions. What should be condemned without hesitation is too often excused, ignored, or rationalized.
If you think this isn’t your fight because you’re not Jewish, think again. Hate never stops with one group. It may begin with the Jews, but history has shown that it never ends there.

Few journalists have earned the trust and respect of New Yorkers the way @billritter7 has. For decades, he helped tell the story of our city with fairness, professionalism, and heart.
I am praying for Bill and his family as he faces this diagnosis. Thank you for your service to New York, Bill. We are all behind you.
NEW YORK CITY, WE DID IT!!!
The New York Knicks are champions!
This team played with heart, grit, and the never-quit spirit that defines our city. Tonight, every block, every borough, and every New Yorker is celebrating.
The championship is back where it belongs. 🏆🧡💙
