In that split second Enzo Fernandez has only one choice. Yes, he can lose his nation the World Cup. But then he would miss the chance to commit an amazing, amazing, incredible foul. And if you understand Enzo Fernandez, you would understand he never even had a choice to make
The Man, The (S)Myth, The Legend
We had the great @ThatKevinSmith on #DCStudiosShowcase this week to talk all things Movie, Comic, DC, and of course BIZARRO YEAR NONE

@asMOTHAFUKKA@TalkingSuperman It's the amazing Nick Pitarra, of Manhattan Projects fame. But we are devotees of Quitely, and wanted this to look like the Mad Magazine cousin to All Star Superman. Felt fitting. And we have Quitely blessing us with covers.
@TalkingSuperman We get it into more in Issue 3, but I think my favorite page is 2 is the "All work and no play" reveal of Bizarro's typewriter. The Bizarro Code as something he ARRIVES at after failing to make things perfect. As he himself deteriorates.
@TalkingSuperman On the "imperfect" versus "backwards" idea: In the Silver Age Action Comics backups they always called Bizarro an "imperfect copy" of Superman. And the Bizarro Code that ended each issue mentioned "opposites," but aLeo imperfections and ugliness. We really keyed in on that.
@TalkingSuperman Really glad you're still liking it! It's been really rewarding seeing it come together for people. And I think it rewards close attention, partly because of Nick's art, and partly because every little thing in these scripts is built to pay off in some way.
Really digging this take on Bizarro World. Not because I thought opposites being inconsistent was a problem that needed fixed but because it feels like people acting like poor parodies is striking a cord with people right now
Alright Bizarro Year None #2 was one of the best issue I've read in a while. It's weird, it's unsettling and you really don't know where they're going with it at any point. Love it
This would be true if the purpose of reading was purely utilitarian. No one is looking at maps for anything other than information; people read for a wide variety of purposes, many of which are contingent on the idea that original thought is involved.
@FitMarshmellow Probably the best Superman-related book today.
The focus on Perry and Jimmy is still really good, and the psychological horror elements really heightened this issue.
Those final pages really left me feeling unnerved.
dude bizarro year none #2 is really fucking good. like amazingly so.
this take on bizarro and the bizarro world is so unsettling and the way it focuses squarely on the planet cast gives you such a good perspective on how genuinely terrifying this all is.
seeing bizarro...
Jimmy Olsen and Perry White learn that Bizarro hospitality might be the exact opposite of welcoming in Bizarro: Year None #2. Preview pages and synopsis. #Bizarro#DCComics
