@EdinvaleFarm Very much a situation on every livestock farm, Jock. Not sure if everyone has picked up on the fact that going forward, water will be one of the biggest restraints on livestock farming. Building water resilience is a focus that farmers have to seriously consider, now!!!

@Ettrickgiles @Luing_Cattle 79% calved in the first 21 days and majority of all calves not even seen a drop of rain on their backs! 66 alive calves out of 67 and only one assist with one heifer. Hugely appreciative of all @Ettrickgiles hard work before me to get where we are now!! 💪🏼 Now for some 🌧 please

That's a wrap on calving 2025! This heifer has been the lone straggler for over a week now but finally dropped this cracking bull calf on day 43 of calving. Forever thankful 🙏 for an easy calving like this. 1/2 @Ettrickgiles @Luing_Cattle

That's first cut of red clover and grass mix whacked down yesterday. Not the heaviest of crops on the drier parts of the field but should be some quality stuff! @Ettrickgiles @WatsonSeeds @SoilAssocScot
