We look forward to engaging with the @Europarl_EN and the @EUCouncil to improve some aspects of the text, in particular with regards to primary residences.
We welcome the @EU_Commission Affordable Housing Act - a key step toward giving cities and regions the legal certainty to tackle housing locally, including regulating short-term rentals where needed.
🧵 Reaction of our rapporteur on the EU Affordable Housing Plan @jaumecollboni

🌬️Clean air is not a luxury.
On #CleanAirDay we join @UNEP_Europe to highlight the roles of local and regional authorities in global environmental governance and making our cities healthier for everyone.
Air pollution still poses risks to human health in most European cities.
At the local level, policies to improve air quality vary and range from promoting sustainable transport solutions to introducing Low Emission Zones and increasing urban tree coverage.
