Military buildups are amongst the biggest drivers of ecological destruction.
An F-35 fighter jet can emit as much CO₂ in two years as a car does in the same period. »
But it gets worse.

According to research published in the Social Science Research Network, the war itself (direct combat) has so far generated between 420,265 and 652,552 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent – that’s like burning more than 1.5 million barrels of oil.

When you include pre-war construction and post-war reconstruction, the figure skyrockets to over 61 million tonnes.

That exceeds the annual emissions of 135 countries.

In times of war and destruction, we need more peace, more protection of the environment, and more defence of life.

Defending peace means defending the planet and all living beings.

The U.S. Department of Justice is filing charges against the Cuban General for the 1996 downing of planes belonging to the terrorist, anti-Cuba organization Brothers to the Rescue.
This is not justice. It is a fabricated pretext to escalate hostility against Cuba.
A new act of aggression. The same logic as the blockade.
We reject this manipulation. Solidarity with Cuba and its leadership.
