The Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association has named Kentucky a top-5 academic team for 2025-26.

UK posted a team GPA of 3.8326 with 17 gymnasts over a 3.5 GPA & 9 with a perfect 4.0.

In all, 89 percent of UK's 2025-26 roster had a 3.5 GPA or higher.

That's pretty strong.

Some bittersweet news: July 15th will be my last day at FOX 56 News.

It has been a privilege to call Lexington home and cover a sports community unlike any other. I arrived here as a recent college graduate, eager to learn the ropes, and the journey from then to now has been nothing short of a blessing.
