@Ryandally08@jgrogan222@TheAlithia I watched in an interview where she basically said it was not the Governor General's role to get involved in politics, (as per John Kerr) but to represent Australia on the world stage. Like we need that.
@Law17701@KatyKray73 Agree with your comments regarding Jeff. So disappointing. Not sure a coalition with VIC Libs + luggage would be good for ON however. Maybe let them totally collapse and then hand pick Moira Deeming and the like.
@BagGlamour@craigkellyAFEE As a Victorian I have no idea what goes on down here. Either the stupidest people on earth or Dan rigged the elections. Both seem feasible to me.
@DaveMcG67@CaroDiRusso It's hard to believe the labor government can't see this happening. Getting autism certification will be like getting a roadworthy 15 years ago. Just shop around.
@TruthFighter67@craigkellyAFEE Yep,
Pollies handing themselves gongs (or accepting nomination by members of their own party) have stopped me from even looking at the list anymore. Sad for the volunteers or truly gifted that get roped in with this bunch. Perhaps start an award for volunteers only?
@phil_aussie@craigkellyAFEE Unfortunately the current GG doesn't think that's her job. In an interview with Tony Abbot she explained that she did not concur with John Kerr's actions of intervention and believes her role is to be representative of the government on the world stage.
@SteveWoosnam@Matt_Camenzuli I work in construction. I personally know workers that have only ever voted Labor are going to ONP. Guys who battle to pay increasing bills and whose kids won't ever own a house due to the policies set by the Libs and now Labor. Many older guys don't recognise today's Labor.
@pcet2022@TruthdriverOn Asking a question. The government sends a demand to pay letter to someone (I have received many) and they unfortunately chose to end their life. Is this a tax office/government issue (I don't like either) or mental health?
