@steeletalk There is a real opportunity to hv candid discussion re MAID. My brother was diagnosed with Huntingtons in 2008 (35). Given 2 yrs 2 live, death was immenent & cruel. It was against the law & watching him die almost killed me also. Hv more to say mom's terminal cncr 2022.
@sarobertson_@Frazzling Honestly, let's have some grace. She was the Governor General, and not every single MP knows French either. She is being honest and open....let's just take a step back. Thank you for your service!
To be a mom doesn't always mean giving birth. Amazing people have loved truly like a mother would. Thank U so much for those who do and how you love. Happy Mothers Day! #mothersday#love

🇨🇦 The father of 12-year-old Kylie Smith, one of the victims killed in the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School shooting in British Columbia, shared this emotional plea in an interview with CTV News, accompanied by a photo of his daughter.
Kylie was a beautiful soul who loved art and anime, and never hurt anyone."You want to put someone’s picture up on the news?
Put my daughter’s picture up... Let’s stop giving this psychopath the recognition, because these kids were lost before they got to become teenagers.
Let’s put these pictures up, remember them and not this murderer."
Please keep Kylie, her family, and all the victims of this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏
@YaroslavB I don't know you or your family but my heart is with you and your children. It is heart breaking to lose someone you love and I can only imagine your pain. Sending you love ❤️ and hugs 🫂
Monterosso Italy 🇮🇹 YouTube is up. Enjoy and I hope you consider giving it a like and subscribing. It takes a lot of effort but challenging my brain is always a good way to be more vulnerable!! Enjoy #travel#italy#loveit

BREAKING: Canadian fertilizer and agricultural retail giant Nutrien has selected a U.S. location as the preferred site for its next export terminal — ruling out all Canadian West Coast ports.
Had a private meeting today with one of Canada’s top CEOs in Toronto. We shared a common view of the world. I left the meeting struck by how many Canadian food companies feel completely misunderstood, facing constant finger-pointing and “gouging” accusations.
The most devastating legacy of the last decade in Canada is the growing disconnect: too many Canadians no longer understand why companies exist—why food companies exist. These businesses provide value, innovate, and perform miracles every day when confronted with economic or geopolitical adversity. They also give generously to charity, contributions that are too often forgotten.
Too many Canadians today are financially and data illiterate, and it’s hurting our public discourse about the food economy.
I love Canada, but this is one part I don’t like: seeing more and more Canadians dismiss, even attack, what our businesses—from farmgate to plate—do every single day to feed us and the world.
It’s a shame.
💡Crazy fact—Huntington’s Disease was infamously the worst disease with 100% genetic penetrance—ie you were 100% doomed to develop it with no treatment/cure if you carried the gene 🧬—but now there is finally a treatment for it, thanks to science. Don’t defund medical research!
