I'm interested in current artists responses to bad reviews (there's a story here today) and I think about how RARE and GENTLE bad reviews are nowadays. I was reminded just the other day that EBTG's Temperamental got 1 out of 10 in the NME. Which is objectively just mad/hilarious!

A review of a new movie says it lacks “tension, danger, build, and stakes, the hallmarks of dramatic narrative” — which would fine if “The Golden Book” was a thriller but it’s an adaptation of a meditative, gentle Tove Jansson novel about grief, nature and time!
