Our students collected 1,700 books for Bernie's Books! The books will be distributed to kids who do not have books at home. We are very proud of our students for coming together to help those in need through a shared love of reading! @Wilmette39 @ExploreCentral @berniesbookbank

Our Green Team was awarded a solar panel grant and the panels were just installed! The solar panels will turn sunlight into energy that will be used to help power the school. We also hope they will inspire others to use solar energy. ⁦@Wilmette39⁩ ⁦@ExploreCentral⁩

Our second graders honored local veterans today with a Wall of Honor. Students wrote names of family members and friends in the military on a paper flag. @Wilmette39 @ExploreCentral @FranEngstrom8

Our 4th graders joined the American Legion Wilmette Post 46 and the Wilmette Police and Fire Departments to honor our veterans at Veterans Park. It was an honor to be invited and our students found the experience rewarding and meaningful. @VofWilmette @Wilmette39 @ExploreCentral
