To strengthen road safety and promote lane discipline, Wrong Lane Driving e-Challan System on the Haryana section of Delhi–Vadodara Expressway (DVE) will be effective from 01 August 2026. Following successful integration with NIC and completion of system trials, the digital enforcement mechanism is now ready for implementation. The system has already been successfully implemented on the Rajasthan Section of Delhi–Vadodara Expressway.

This technology-enabled initiative will help deter wrong-lane driving, improve compliance with traffic regulations and enhance the safety of all road users on one of India's key expressway corridors. NHAI remains committed to leveraging technology to build safer, smarter and more efficient National Highways.

🛣️Barrier-Free Travel Begins on the Delhi–Jaipur Highway!

The Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) Tolling System is now live at Shahjahanpur Toll Plaza, making the Manesar–Jaipur stretch barrier-free for commuters.

Powered by #FASTag and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, the MLFF system enables seamless toll collection without the need to stop at toll barriers, resulting in smoother traffic flow, reduced travel time, lower fuel consumption and improved commuter convenience. The initiative is part of NHAI's efforts to modernise toll collection and enhance the travel experience on National Highways.

NHAI remains committed to leveraging technology to deliver safer, smarter and more efficient highway infrastructure for the nation.

📲 Introducing Digital Local Pass on Rajmargyatra App!

NHAI has introduced the Digital Local Pass on the Rajmargyatra Mobile App, enabling eligible commuters to purchase their Local Pass online without visiting the toll plaza. By leveraging secure digital verification through Government platforms, the entire process can now be completed within minutes, making highway travel more convenient while eliminating manual documentation.

The service has been launched at the Mundka–Bakkarwala Toll Plaza on UER-II, Delhi, and will be expanded to eligible toll plazas across the country in phases. This initiative marks another step towards delivering seamless, transparent and citizen-centric digital services for National Highway users.
