Apple using a distort mechanism instead of H/W sliders for the Shapes generator makes me think they're worried about breaking existing Libraries.

Custom GPS tracking map HUD and lower thirds in Apple Motion for a Disney walkthrough. 3D Camera and Match Move kept the window static while the map rotates with footage. Client got reusable Motion templates for future videos.
