BTW, the train staff did the best they could in a difficult situation they were put in by @Amtrak. Those folks sitting in an office could have easily averted this mess, but chose not to.
. @DenverChannel@Amtrak@AmtrakCouncil, the Zephyr 6 arriving in Denver (ETA 9:47pm) is carrying coach cars full of people w/o adequate food since CA. Went to NV desert without AC and there's no Cafeteria car. A baby had to be evacuated into an ambulance at Winnemucca!
You might want to talk to the coach passengers and Amtrak officials about the new "California Heat Stroke and Famine Express" experience!
Great way to revitalize interest in train travel!
@EmileAndHisBots@github Github is owned by Microsoft - they have enough resources to go after the registrar of a domain that is actively impersonating them and can seriously cause supply chain compromises.
This is certainly something their security team can, and knows how to go after.
Hey @github - this phishing site is well done enough to easily fool people, and it popped up for me as the top Google search for a legitimate project. That means they did their SEO homework.
Please take action against it before someone's project gets compromised.
Hey @github you should take a look at this phishing site, it's well made enough to fool people into providing their credentials.

@LorenaABarba I'm a big fan of having HEAD in my shell prompt to help me catch things like this more easily. Seeing that long (hash) in stead of `main` is jarring and helpful...
This seems like as good of a time as any to remind everyone that we have an awesome workshop series at @NeurIPSConf on Machine Learning and the Physical Sciences. That includes both Physics for ML and ML for Physics. #NobelPrize2024 Hinton & Hopfield

@TechAtBloomberg has been a long-time supporter of the project (in many ways!) and of open source in general. This one I find particularly valuable - I've used it in the past and it fills a really useful niche for us.

I really appreciate how thoughtful you've been in this process, both in terms of protecting those who depend on you, and in sharing your thought process. Many ponder similar questions, and sharing your rationale will help all with their own decisions.
