A very sad day at @fswc. Five staff losing their jobs as a result of the end of European Social Fund. #esf#funding
62 years experience lost.
A massive thank you to Joanne,Yvonne,Ingrid & Bernie for their dedication, professionalism and amazing spirit. #shameful#BrexitReality
It was great to be @FSWC last week for another @WRC_NI Cost of Living Crisis & @AdviceNI debt advice focus group.
Hearing a bit more about the rural impacts of this crisis in terms of higher costs of fuel for transport, the impact on providing care & issues with low paid work
On this #IWD23 we want to shout out the work of the 14 amazing Women's Centres in NI
They do so much important work for women, children, families & communities
Despite limited funding their passion, care & hard work for women continues - it's valuable & often life-changing work
Reality! #ESF#funding ends 31st March 2023 If no replacement found 5 of our Staff will lose their jobs! FACT! #jobloss#timeisrunningout#facingchallenges
However, @FSWC remains open.
