Winterization is in full swing at Beal! 🌲🧊🌿
Our team has been working to transport plants from the garden to the shared @facilitiesmsu greenhouse. Some plants are not able to be moved & cuttings from these plants are propagated. By May/June they are replanted in the garden.
We are tremendously looking forward to begin renovating the greenhouses and the dairy facility this spring!

Beal Scholar Madelin Snook spent her summer working to eliminate invasive and non-native plants in the garden and around campus. For her scholar project she compiled a list of invasive ‘culprits’ and plants to keep out of your garden. 🌿🌱❌
Pumpkins are a plopping! Come compost your pumpkins at the 2023 Pumpkin Plop. The bin will be at our public drop-off center now through November 19th.
