@Keoffxiv@az_xwn ???
Straight men are way more likely to play AST and SCH for literally all my experience with week 1-2 players cause they have busted QoL (Expedience) or better damage than WHM/SCH
@EvnHappyTK@LocalFurDerg@erSharifst SCH optimisation is about how many energy drains you can get off without straining your co-healer. That's why its considered the hardest healer after the AST rework.
You use too many aetherflow stacks on on ED and you risk dying
@JMozzyForest@CBHeli Aside from Anderson who in some sense is irreplaceable, I actually don't see that many positions needing reinforcement in our first 11. Our depth has been a problem even since last year though if Aina/Murillo/Wood are injured.
@GloriousHeropon Ngl I think it's normal, or at least I kinda had a negative reaction too, every Ulti I did that wasn't the easy ones like UCoB/UWU/TEA I only felt relief when I cleared DSR/TOP and literally nothing for FRU
but then again I'm quite literally depressed so idk lmao
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria Therefore, original OP's statement that kill date matters more than parse is true and his subsequent statement that ''I don't care if someone parsed 100 week 20. The guy that 0 parse'd week 1 is still better than them by a longshot'' is also true.
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria is a much more valuable skill set than being to parse well for a variety of reasons I explained in the thread. So even if they're technically not the same skill set, you can't equate a fast progger and a good parser as equally skilled at raiding
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria and the point I'm making is essentially that killing fast is a much harder achievement than maximising dps, which is why every world prog group is so difficult to get into because most world proggers by default are generally excellent at doing damage
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria The game really isn't that complicated that optimising a damage rotation takes much work at all, 99.9% of rotation optimisation is copying what the rank 1 is doing on a fight
its genuinely just cope thinking parsing means anything in ff14
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria People can parse for fun and whatever I did it in the past but the moment anyone tries to equate being good at parsing as if it puts them remotely on the same skill level as fast proggers is just outing themselves as bad as fuck at raiding
@ToniNottford@Rawr71081600@xIlyria well if they really wanted to but the opposite isn't nearly as common where a parser develops into an extremely skilled progger
