Today's signing of the Inflation Reduction Act into law marks the end of well over a year of hard work by Congress, and consistent advocacy from AFT, our partners, and so many of you. We want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible!
The IRA invests $20B into helping producers protect their land from development, adopt climate-smart practices, reduce emissions, and build resilience. AFT has worked on these issues for 40 years, and is thrilled that the bill sees agriculture as part of the climate solution.
The Inflation Reduction Act would help farmers and ranchers to fight climate change and build resilience to its impacts by making an historic investment in conservation programs. Read AFT's statement here: https://t.co/Ky0NskNZAd
