@avidseries My guess is that KK is saying this in the context of the ceasefire (which I'd say is a reasonable take). He is not saying "Trump is right about everything".
I suspect your own bias may be showing in reaction to this 'terrible take'.

I didn't know Charlie personally. But he did send me a kind message last year. "I love all people" is what he said. If that is any indication of who the man was, then this country has lost someone special today.

Partisan politics did not stand in the way of him paying me a compliment, and it should not stand in the way of mourning him either.

We cannot become a society where expressing political views, even controversial ones, leads to violence. Whatever you think of his politics, Charlie was a decent man, a patriot, and a brave defender of his values. My heart goes out to his wife and his kids.

@SethDillon This is an area I struggle with. Totally get Seth's argument for the innocent (and killing the rapist) but the trauma of letting a woman live with the hereditary offspring of her rapist inside of her prolongs and amplifies the initial act. I don't have a good answer.

@G_S_Bhogal I'm Scottish and lived there for 28 years. My first thoughts on this were: she's just being a ned (slang for lower class, anti-social youth). Scotland will have plenty of other examples showing the failure of multiculturalism (see the murder of Kriss Donald) but this was not one.

@eyeslasho My wife & I both want to have more kids. But we both work full-time jobs to pay our mortgage and send our kids to pre-school/school. I will not reach anywhere near the level of retirement wealth my parents have if we have a 3rd child. I can't be alone in this.
