This weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting an appreciation event for the incredible volunteers who helped us bring the @osunsdgcreative SDG Creative Conference to life back in January.

Young people from across Osun came together to connect, share, and grow and this is exactly why we do what we do.

I share in Governor Ademola @AAdeleke_01 vision, that every youth deserves access to opportunity, regardless of where they come from or their social status.

That’s why I’m proud to announce that His Excellency has approved the renovation of the SDG Centers in Dagbolu and Iragbiji to serve as hubs for learning, innovation, and creativity.

We’ve also just received a ₦25 million donation from Smart City @smartcityplcng towards equipment for a Content Creation Studio, proof that the private sector is ready to partner for impact in Osun State.

This is only the beginning. Hereby use this opportunity to call on more partners to join us in creating a future where Osun creatives can shine on a global stage earning, building, and thriving right here at home.

Following reports of failed illegal takeover bid of local government councils in Osun by the sacked APC Chairmen and councillors, I hereby direct all Osun residents including politicians across all political divides to stay away from the local government secretariats to protect public properties and avoid further bloodshed.

This has become necessary, especially as the council secretariats are expected to be under lock and key, due to the withdrawal of service, announced by workers of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) across the state.

I equally condole families of victims of the APC illegal takeover bid and chaos unleashed across the state by the APC and their hired thugs. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), lost five members with several others wounded. Two of those members are from Iragbiji, Boripe local government. Another two were killed at Ola Oluwa Local government. Another one was lost at Ikire. We must stop further bloodshed.

I have directed security agencies to take charge of all local government secretariats and I hereby assure residents of Osun of their safety and protection of lives and properties.

Adeleke is doing the right thing by informing the public about the Oyetola situation; I don't get why the criticism? He's raising an alarm now before things go south. He might be a sitting governer but let's not pretend to be unaware how messy Nigerian politics has become. Wike's fight with Fubara is proof enough. It's just sickening.

I, however, regret to inform Mr. President and the public that Mr Gboyega Oyetola has concluded an arrangement to cause mayhem in Osun state starting from Monday. He is issuing illegal directives to security operatives to enforce illegality simply because he is the nephew of Mr. President. I chose to alert the nation before my people are killed or maimed by a minister  dropping the name of Mr. President in connivance with the Osun state security operatives obeying unlawful orders.

Governor Ademola Adeleke has directed Osun residents including politicians across political divides to stay away from the local government secretariats to protect public properties and avoid further bloodshed.

In a reaction to the current illegal APC takeover bid of local governments in Osun state, the Governor affirmed that since the local government workers are on strike, only security agencies should be allowed to man the secretariats.

“I therefore direct all law abiding Osun residents to stay away from the council secretariats especially as they are expected to be under lock and key.

“I equally condole families of victims of the APC illegal takeover bid and chaos unleashed across the state by the APC and their hired thugs. PDP lost five members with several others wounded.
